The settlement is on a small hill next to the Sisquilla watercourse. It is  7 kilometres from La Bastida and 3 kilometres from the town of Totana, occupying an area of ​​almost 1000 m2. Like the Argaric deposit of Cabeza Gorda some 2 km to the north, it has excellent visibility over the Guadalentín valley.

It is an atypical settlement that was not inhabited by a permanent community, similar to those industrial areas in the outskirts of our current cities.
